Behind the scenes of a writing residency
a writing playlist, journal entires, photographs & some notes on fiction
A few months ago, I went on a 5 day writing residency. It had been years since I had done something like it, and it was such a privilege to be able to go and dedicate uninterrupted time to writing.
This issue is different than previous ones because it’s transcribed from my journal and notebooks during my time at the retreat. It contains lists, hopes, anxieties, thoughts about the craft of fiction and process. It features lots of photographs I took and also a playlist I love writing to. As with all my writing that is more personal, it is be behind a paywall.
A huge thank you to Hannah at Starcroft Farm for providing such a lovely and thoughtful haven for writers to come to via her retreats. Honestly, it was such a transformative experience to be there and I highly recommend it.
